Richard hails from Glasgow and studied flute at the RSAMD (Royal Conservatoire of Scotland), continuing his studies with
Mario Caroli at the CNR Strasbourg, where he attained his spécialisation diplome in contemporary music.
He has performed with MusikFabrik, Klangforum Wien and commissions and performs new music.
